Tiley wants to remove "Lets" to quicken up the matches. That would mean if the serve hits the net and just drops in, it would be an Ace. Don't think that would be fair.

FFS no. The super tiebreak in the final set is bad enough. The beauty of tennis is you never know what you're going to get match length-wise.

Leave it alone it's been working well for decades. The whole point of receiving someone serving is to get a fair look at their fastest shot. It dropping over the net isn't a fair shot.

Would reduce people to dumping it over and takes away the server's advantage completely.

And unfortunately this is who Tiley is marketing to. I never usually spend much time at grand slam oval as I prefer just to drink at Rod as I'm usually in there anyway but this year was the worst I've seen it. It was a full on fashion show out there where ditz's were just there to get gram pics at the various bars.

Don't even get me started on that bar looking over court 6. I cannot believe that was allowed to go ahead again.

I did venture over to grab a few of the grey goose cups though

Yep leave it alone. We never had a problem with 20-18 sets and we don't have a problem with Lets. People just don't have patience anymore.

RLA is brilliant. Even MC is okay if you get a good match. One of my favs there was the Murray/Kokk match a few years ago that finished after 4am.
