Ha! How convenient when it suits you....

Last time I checked it is a forum to express views.

You don't get it, do you?

Sure he was (is) entitled to an opinion that was (is) an affront to most of us. Some of us were even sticking up for him when he rolled out the same garbage a couple of years after the issue was done. He wanted one outcome (why? it would have been phenomenally shit) and he didn't get it. Doc, your desired outcome didn't happen, move on.

But f*** me, is he going to re-hash it every time he gets a microphone put under his nose? Enough is enough. Talk about NMFC all you like Doc, but STFU about the proposed GC relocation. That's all we ask, and we're offended that all this time later, he is too much of a pig to let it go.

Over and out from me then to all ^^ responses, obviously agree to disagree (other than disagreeing with Aylett's view which I share 100%) and not keen to cause any more drama by attempting to be rational and/or mature.

Carry on abusing Aylett to feel better, no better opportunity than now :thumbsu:

I should let this go, but...

In what way can you compare a coach or player who is busting their arse for the club and gets idiots big-noting themselves with (usually misguided) personal abuse, with a guy who tried his best to destroy the club and now, seven years later, can only find room to publicly regret he didn't manage to achieve this aim?

At the end of the day, that's exactly what happened - Aylett failed. He anointed Graeme Duff as his successor as Chairman and it was exactly that decision that directly led to the relocation plan falling over. If Duff hadn't resigned from the board late 2007, the relocationists would have had the numbers at Dallas Brooks Hall. Bad luck Allen, no soup for you. NEXT!

Nah, Saintly disagrees with Aylett's view 100%. Just thinks we should let it slide because Aylett did great stuff for the club 40+ years ago.

yes he was a good player for our club but at the end of the day he was the one that got us in debt and stuff the hole club up thank god someone like james brayshaw is making sure the club will have a future and stop us from going to the gold coast so get stuff Aylett

You mean Graeme 'North supporters can remove the 'R' word from their vocabulary' Duff? By the way, where did Duff actually come from to suddenly take on the role as Chairman of the North Melbourne Football Club? And where has he disappeared to??

Ex VRC Chairman.

Now Chairman of National Construction Management Services.

Close mate of Arden also. :Winkyfaceoftruth

Met him a few times. Was an absolute arrogant flog of a bloke.

Had shit ideas then, and nearly buried us as a club.

Nobody should have respect for him. He doesn't deserve it.

Go away!!!

Seconded.

That's right, if you read all of Saintly's posts in this thread you would see he actually disagrees with Aylett's view, but doesn't like the way Aylett has been attacked in the thread. Gotta say I'm with everyone else though Saintly, it's not just Aylett's view that is the issue with most it's the rehashing of the same old misguided, discredited claptrap that gets many so hot under the collar. I also don't think it is a pack mentality thing, I believe these will be the prevailing views of most that are passionate enough about the club that they are even on BF.

I don't like what people are saying about a past great of our club either, but I'm sorry to say I think he brings it upon himself.

Glad to see the back of you Allen
