I signed today at the M.C.G before the game and so did a lot pf other people. However was not given my membership ticket to enter the game and was given a Gen Ad ticket to to enter the game. I hoping to get the membership ticket by next week game against Geelong but knowing the North Melbourne membership dept i will have to ask it for myself

I have to say that I do get irritated by people that leave getting their membership to the very last minute and then go on to complain about not getting their membership card immediately. I have friends that are in this boat and it gives me that absolute S***S.

The membership cards are personalised and coded I am sure with individual requirements ie. reserved seating etc - these things take time.

The club needs the funds asap - and this attitude which seems to run rife within the Kangaroos ranks (not necessarily on this board) - of we will wait and see how they go and if they win the first few games we will renew - screams to me "fairweather friend"...very annoying. In my experience "these fairweather friends" are the first ones to give criticism and of course take accolades.

Maybe it is just me but renewal comes - I pay the bill - just like any bill. No questions asked - I am a Kangaroos Supporter and Proud member (whatever the weather).

I agree with this, but as someone that got my memberships yesterday, I think the vast majority would be a case of not buying memberships until the latest moment because of other pressing financial commitments rather than waiting and seeing how we go.

Those that do "wait and see" certainly give my the s**ts as well.

Certainly have no problem with those that hold off for financial reasons. However my experience (in particular with people I know) - money is just not a factor at all. Simply waiting to see how they go - and this is the same year in and year out.

I do think that there will be much more of this "wait & see" attitude this year - due to the changes ie. no Pagan or Carey. Some people just simply see their membership as being something they must get the return of watching finals football with. Goodness if this was the attitude of many other clubs supporters that have not been in the finals for many years - they would not have a member.

It is just something that really annoys me!

I dont care when people chose to get them, as long as they get em!!

I got mine in December and took advantage of that installment plan option which is a real winner and makes it a bit easier.

When i arrived at around 1.30 yesterday there were stack of people lining up outside the tent at gate 7 to buy their's.

And then Arnie and i did a lap of the G looking for an ATM (1 fricken ATM at the WHOLE ground!!! Disgrace!!) yesterday just before the game and there were still sh*t loads at both tents (hopefully nto the same people as 30 min earlier!!).

Going beautifully. Another coupla wins wont hurt either.

I'm pretty much in the financially depressed boat... Gotta scrape it together... and get one for me mum!:) Also remember that we don't have a home game til round three, I certainly put it off a bit knowing that I wouldn't really need it til then...
