That's an incredible get. Even bet limited, it's guaranteed money.
Ive discussed this numerous times before but i got my first ever betting account years ago now because William Hill did a special called chase the ace for the Aus Open.

$1 cash for every ace your player served if you put a $20 H2H bet on.

Most big servers put 20 aces down in a 3 set loss so you could basically bet on every big server on the mens side for free and cash their aces in.

Netted $2000 in that fortnight and its lasted me pretty much ever since.

I asked a mate (who is a proper gambling addict afterwards) how these places can do this sort of shit and he said most people will do it and make a bit but then blow it all and keep gambling, its effectively a free beer from the manager so you stay and buy the lunch and 20 rounds later.

I suspect this is the same thing.

Im lucky to bet 3-4 times a year.

Yeah. being a real super-brain, I can figure out UK and Aussie odds! They are 3/1 here. That means, lay a buck, get 3 bucks back, plus your stake returned. Total, four bucks.
Okay, sorry but it just read like it followed from the previous comments about the odds and given the best odds I could find a UK bookie offering was 21/10 and I know a lot of people do struggle with the different presentation of odds between countries I was just trying to be helpful.

QLD a strong chance to wrap up the series at home but this is Origin and it's do or die for NSW and probably the coach too.

Betfair currently has it $1.52 QLD $2.84 NSW which is roughly 65/35 QLD's way, it's a good view of the general sentiment.

I feel that with so much talent either side, on any given day you can tip either team. However QLD just have the intangible "trust" factor more, especially at home, they've won 64% of the games at this venue. Even when they're favourites nobody could say the trust NSW to get the job done.

Going QLD by 6. I think the halves pairing of Moses and Luai won't just automatically click for the first time together, whereas Munster and DCE are SoO vets.

I also think Tedesco is cooked and Walsh is a rising star who will look at dominating again. Loves it at Suncorp.

That's actually quite smart haha. I'm a massive sports fan but I've never gambled ever, mostly cuz I don't rly get the rules. Do ya know if they still do chase the ace??

They stopped years ago, they realised it was just free money being given away

They did it the following year with bonus bets then scrapped it altogether.

Pretty sure William hill doesn’t even exist anymore.

The blues are starting Robson at hooker…

Bold strategy
Right move, bring Cook on when our middles are tiring, use that speed of his

I'm pretty nervous because we're actually favourites

Hopefully Billy has them up for it

I think for NSW to win Teddy needs to find that form that has been eluding him for most of this year

He turned it on against the Bulldogs after the first Origin but a tougher assignment doing it against QLD
