Andrew Mackie - would he get a regular game at a lesser team and in what position?

Having a terrible season and again getting found out tonight in defence.

He's been terrific for Geelong's style of play but can be very lazy with his disposal ie handballing and kicking into the opposition and in a physical game where you need a tough, tight defender can be as soft as butter.

He also gives me the impression that he's pretty impressed with himself.

He should be stepping up to fill Milburn's role when Dasher retires but he's not fit to tie Milburn's boot laces.

He's a player that definitely needs Scarlett's presence out on the ground.

If he were at another club, where would he play and would he get a regular game?

He is a lovely kick.

Perhaps tries to do a little too much though,
thinks he is better than he is - often burning players
to make himself look good.

But all in all, he is a more than handy player.

Although this year, he's been very poor. He'd wanna pick his game up in finals.

Always starts the season strangely, as if he's forgotten he's a defender. Ramps up and finishes the year playing very good accountable footy. Secretly wishes he was playing in the forward line so the spotlight was on him more.

Both are soft and love outside ball..

Both were drafted into good sides with top 10 picks and picked up easy ball for numerous seasons making them look good.

We drafted him I do not know why to play as our distributor out of defence and he is shit. i think you will find Mackie is the same player...essentially a clone!
