ANZAC day footy tickets.

OK, i will probably look like a idiot, but myself and some mates from all over the country are coming to Melbourne for the ANZAC day game, no-one is a member of either club, so we cannot get tickets that way, and from what i understand, its to late anyway, i was wondering if the standing room/resricted viewing tickets which are released on 23rd April are ever sold out for this game ?.

If we cannot get tickets, the boys will not be to upset to just sit at a pub and watch the game, my question is, which is the best football pub around the city ( lots of pies fans) that has the best beer, atmosphere etc, with a TAB ?.

if you dont get a decent response, you could always try flemington races - you can certainly bet , and there will be tv's thru the course with plenty of people watching.

The Transport in Federation Square is good .

Tangerine Bar in Crown Casino is always a good spot to watch the footy, especially for big games like Anzac Day. Long bar means you always get served quickly and the casino is a 2 second walk afterwards if you want a flutter.
