Jetta should have a goal to his name. Its his kind of misses that are keeping us out of the contest. Stantons fumble in space was horrible.
Hille is having a shocker...Hurley is being outplayed. Harry O is running rings around them. Marks aren't sticking for Ryder.
All of a sudden we look too tall and slow up forward. I would sub Hille and get Reimers on. I wish Jetta didn't miss those easy goals.
Slattery decision has been a shocker. We can't seem to get run out of backline though his opponents aren't doing much.
Our midfield is trying exceptionally hard. Hooker, Fletcher, Heppell, Hardingham have be really good in defence.

Hurley always plays better in the second halfs of games when forward.
Heppell and Melksham have been excellent today, Jetta looks dangerous But ....
positive is we get Pears back at the halfway mark of the year, and we need Hibberd in my opinion.
Dont warry about the umpires, Just go get the ball boys.
We look tougher at the ball then we did in the Nab cup final, and we have only played 4 more games, keep this improvement up and we could be pretty good come finals.

Stanton's hardly the only one out there making basic mistakes. Don't under estimate the pressure Collingwood put on. At least he has battled hard and trying to get himself back into the game.
Great games so far by the young guys - Heppell, Hardingham, Crameri, and Melksham have been great.

Perhaps it's all relative - but I would take this umpiring any day over the deadset disgrace that we copped in Sydney.
Sure, there have been some shockers (including many in our forward line - how Crameri was not paid that CLEAR mark in the first quarter I've no idea). But it's still eminently better than the steaming hot pile of crap we get served up at Homebush or the SCG every time we play there.
Hille looks off the pace imo. Needs a run in the two's.

Midfield are working bloody hard but that's the Pies for you. They make you earn it or make you pay.

I think it was Hocking who handballed too him 5 metres in front. You can't do that against Collingwood.
He fumbled, tried to pick it up and then slipped. Yes, he made a mistake but you can't hang him out to dry. If Hocking hit the handball then he's off.

biggest complaint on the pies board is that the commentary team is showing bias.

I agree but he is one of our most senior. He had to work hard to get back into the game after giving Shaw a dozen easy touches in the 1st quarter.
Our young brigade is as exciting as any going around.
