to be fair we only lost to grammar by 4 points and sos was out, not saying he wouldve won it but he certainly would have helped. but true it is an even comp this year excluding the permanent cellar dwellers.

xavier are a scholarship school, and the fact that they are so clandestine about it is even more disgraceful than the river of dirty money that flows down springvale rd towards keighsborough.

grow up Xavier College of Kew.
an admission of your sports scholarships would restore some honour to your school.

yeh i know the kid who wrote it, i told him bout all the trash his fellow xavs were talkin so he wanted to write sumtin.. but ok..
 
lets just face it scholarships are apart of the aps, as bad as it is everyone is far to greedy. the one thing i don't understand if scotch has alll this money to spend why the hell are they so bad. i don't think i've ever seen a team do so badly. the main reason for their failure leaks from the coaching staff

Perhaps the reason that it would appear to be so clandestine is because there's nothing to hide. No smoke, no fire.

Sibosado's on an indigenous scholarship, but Xavier have been associated with his family for nearly ten years now. One of his cousins was a great player for Xavier, another didn't play footy, and his little brother's in the 9B's so it could hardly be alleged to be a footy scholarship.

I'd be interested to know which other Xavs are supposedly part of this clandestine scholarship conspiracy theory.

yet when MGS have aboriginal guys and guys from PNG on scholarships who are playing basketball and others who are playing footy we're dirty cheats?
 
The crux of the issue is that Xavier have one player that conspiracy theorists could consider a scholarship player and even that one is contentious.

The fact that people suggest that Xavier is full of scholarship players yet can't reinforce the contention with names is testament to the organic quality that Xavier has consistently produced over the years.

Grammar have poached Keath and that bloke from St.Bernards or wherever as well as the 5 or so indigenous scholarships in the ones. I'm sure the fact that these kids can play didn't go unnoticed when they were selected for their indigenous scholarships or whatever else you'd like to term them.
 
people seem to be mentioning the fact that Sibasados dad went to the school and thats the only eason hes there. Did it ever occur to Xavier kids that sibasados dad was also a gun footballer and was on a scholarship?

come on mate, we've been over this. Sibosado's dad had nothing to do with Xavier. His family - cousins and brothers - have had a relatively long association with the school. As I said before one of his cousins was a gun for Xavier, another cousin didn't play ones and Sibasado's little brother is in the 9B's. Without a doubt there's some talent in the family but there's by no means a family dynasty at Xavier which could help define the scholarships as purely athletic.
 
geelong college offer no sporting scholarships and we r always competitive
if we had scholarships we would b a class above th other teams but we remain honourable and hav faith in our own footballers
u melbourn skools should concentrate more on training your own footballers than looking for players to poach from other schools

Hey guys its me Ayce, i actually am on a scholarship to College, however it's an athletics scholarship not football. Just to clarify things. Cya in Methods Cam

your full of it...or perhaps your to stubborn to realise you guys do give scholarships. i kno first hand from one of my mates who denied a sporting scholarship to geelong college. either you have no clue or trying to cover up.
 
essendon keilor have a few gun players for sure but no depth and they don't rly care about school footy...they would get ripped by schools with great depth and guns eg haileybury
