Jurrah mate when it comes to banter just leave it to the pro's. Whatever you do stop trying to make predictions because with this years competition if theres one thing ive learnt (based on my miserable tipping performance a few weeks ago) its that you just end up looking like someone who spends most of their time down at the beach with your head in the sand. My opinion, Premiership will come down to Xavier/Caulfield/SKC.
Wes, scotch and GC will be just below. Unlucky for wesley, because on full team strength, they are the best, but the competition doesn't work like that, as SKC found out last yr.

Allocation of scholarships where sporting talent is an element of the selection criteria:
• No student with particular sporting talent will be awarded a scholarship unless the Principal/Head of Campus believes the student will gain a broad range of outcomes during his or her schooling
• Recipients of scholarships where sporting talent is an element will be held to the same standards of behaviour and expectation as other students and should actively contribute to the life of the school beyond their sporting expertise
• It is not fair nor appropriate for Wesley to offer scholarships where sporting talent is an element at senior levels for the purpose of sports
• Wesley will not approach students or their parents with the purpose of offering scholarships or promoting scholarship applications based on sporting prowess

Wesley would have 2 or so kids on scholarships like every other aps school, but as far as i've seen they havent bought a team. Kids like Hunter, greene, darrou have been at wes since yr 7, im almost certain of that.

Well it's just lucky that Xavier has the greatest depth in the APS competition and has adequate coverage. The 1'sts, 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths have lost one game between them the whole year, and that was by less than a kick. It's testament to the football program, and unlike other schools who just stack their 1sts teams up with scholarship players. Wesley's 2nd football team plays in the 3rds division, and is still getting beaten.

Blydog...Great call, i actually played against the wesley 2s side in 3rd div this year, shocking outfit. The Xavier 3rds are a great side though, well led by Nick Sharkey, who took the role off someone late this season...the xavier 3rds and 4ths are dominating the APS.

And on the subject of Xavier Richards out for VM duties, Big loss as well as Breusty for the Xavs this week, but Debutante Soccio comes in and Valles returns, Xavs By 46 in a walkover i feel.
