you fools, ellis and josh kennedy are in yr 11 and theyre playing!
they both made team.
smith riols and nath didnt make the team because they wernt good enough for what the selectors needed to win. they lack physicality and are sometimes overated because they played a solid game. the team picked is the strongest it could be and smith is not the best back flanker in the comp otherwise he would b playing next wednesday night.

I dont think u realise how hard at the pill junior and especially nath and smith are. nath is leading the team for tackles, and smithy is right up there in both hard ball gets and tackles. Smith is a gun in APS and leaves nothing on the park in tac cup either. Just because he isnt the biggest player going round does not mean that he doesnt win the hard ball or tackle. Him and dean sheetz should be in the side.

bobby u idiot, u clearly know very little. apparently coach holding from scotch only put year 12s forward or something. bobby, we're talking about 3 of the best players in the aps, of course they would have been in the side if there were no restrictions

wat restrictions? there arent any on who gets into the team , and the squad is chosen by a 3-man panel, so they must of thought they hadnt done enough to get into the team

smith in form and again in oakleighs best, defies logic
only thing i can think of is that the selectors didnt have his name in the hat when they selected the team?

the APS team as they will line up is:

B: mercuri marston Mcguinness

HB: kenneady laidlaw rebba

C:ellis darvell (VC) barlow

HF:cain murray (C) wexberger

F: morrison dickson plymin

R:hawkins fleming and paule

INT:watts flanagan pike rockafella

GOod line up. going to be too strong for the AGS!

this is an absolute travesty, the second best side in the comp has 2 players, one on the bench. either suggests the consistency and team orientation of the scotch side or the utter delusion of the '3 man selection panel'

just wondering if the APS will be at full strength? as im aware that a few the AGS guns wont be playing, such as jones and few other penninsula boys also i belive riddle is also a late with drawal. Still think it should be a close match though

nope, aps will not be at full strength, due to the outrageous over-looking of Smith, Rioli and Djerrkura

ur just a biased scotch person. obviously the three man panel didnt think that these 3 guys fitted into their best line up for overall balance!

To make the APS team bottom age you have to be pretty exceptional as is Xav Ellis and Tom Hawkins who are clearly a cut above those 3 stated above. Regardless Ellis would have been in the APS team last year but only being in yr 10 was unable to compete. So no matter how exceptional you are in yr 10 that cancels you out

dunno the final score, left with 5 mins to go, but aps were up by about 70 points. no contest really

Comfortable win to the APS. I left 10 minutes into the last quarter and APS were 58 points in front. Great game though. AGS back line played really well but couldn't finish off up forward. Well done both teams. Thanks for a very high-standard game.

easy 70 point win in the end!

Final Score:
APS 14.15.99
AGS 4.7.31

Goals -

APS: Tory Dickson 4, Aaron Murray 2, Jack Watts 2, Tom Paule, Jono Mercuri, Andrew Fleming, Al Pike, Matthew Laidlaw, Tom Hawkins.

AGS: Jesse Silver 3, Damian Cerantonio.

My Best for what it is worth -

APS: Hawkins, Murray, Kennedy, Cain, Dickson, Darvell

AGS: Colbert, Anderson, Silver

Shocking match and freezing by the end.

Yeh not a bad game, APS where just to strong in there finishing skills, I thought Kennedy was great, and Colbert from AGSV was rock solid in the backline, having about 25 possesions, and around 15 marks

Dickson Kicked 5 not 4

Jack Watts is the worst player i have ever seen play the game, such a disappointment in the footsteps of Fergus. No coordination, couldn't take a proper mark, couldn't kick and tripped over himself about 5 times.... APS selectors must have some mental problems in picking him.... he was absolutely awful.
The only thing that Fleming had on fire was his hair as he was also terrible!

yes, saucehead was very ordinary tried to do too many things on his own... colbert from ags was good on a dissapointing night for the grammarians...aps should have won by over 100pts...

Check your facts Offie. Scotch nominated only four players, one of whom was injured. This tied the selection panel's hands. If Scotch had nominated more, they could well have had greater representation.
