His kicking was fine on Friday night, so was his intensity, recovery after going to ground, decision making and his hands were clean as well. Needs at least another 10 kgs, a bit more confidence and better delivery and he will be right IMO.

I said earlier that I thought he did some nice things during the match, but didn't see too many long, accurate kicks from him on Friday. I may have missed them however, so happy to be corrected. His kicking has seemed very awkward previously, so hopefully they have been working on this.

I think he presents reasonably well and showed some good second efforts. But I would like to see him weighing a bit more... If he needs better delivery than what we can give him he's in for a rude shock (see highlighted above).....

Gee it would be good to hear what Rocket thinks of this bloke.

No way he was 80kg when he was drafted!!!

Why are so many people so keen to write this bloke off? I have no vested interest either way, just curious........

Did he kill some puppies or slag off ted Whitten once as a fiften year old.

I agree to an extent. He certainly looks much stronger bodied than he did last year regardless of what the club scales might say. Unfortunately the jury is well and truly out as to whether he'll make the grade. I think we should be patient but you would hope to see signs this year with a view to next year being his make or break season.

He at least looks to be working a lot harder. Was happy with his effort on friday night if nothing else. Some players handle expectation better than others and he has had huge expectation placed on his shoulders due to our supporters' desparation to find the messiah up forward.
