Are we in in for a 0 win season with <50% ?

Not that it bothers me for a few years, but should we lower expectations from a wooden spoon or bottom 3 to our absolute worst season ever?

Consider the games played last year by our most seasoned 10 players, and their age by round 6 2025. And their ability to protect the existing and incoming youngsters.....

Of the above 10 players, 4 of the top 6 are in defense which is reasonable. The remaning 6 players totalled 87 games or an average of 4 of them on the park at any one time across 16 mid, fwd and bench positions.

I know we have a new fitness team but there are some old and sore legs.

I'm more than happy to go winless for a season if he benefits us in the future but it'll never happen. We'll win at least a few games next year, and probably just when we don't want to.

I really don't care as long as I see improvement in the new kids we're drafting in.

The amount of experience our youngsters gained will speed up the process. Baker and Rioli will be missed for a while but we’ll bring in some exciting talent to the midfield. A couple will slot straight in and make us a better team

Even Melbournes early 2010s team managed a win here and there. We won't be that bad.

I expect a wooden spoon, mainly because I don't see what other team is going to be worse than us, but we are certainly not 0 wins bad.

If we play our cards right and get the right youth in we will surprise quiet a few. I mean look at what one player in Reid did to the worst team in the league! Look at Spain revitalized by a 16 year old kid. I would be surprised if we don't win around 5 games hoping not another year with picks like this year prior Tassie would set us up for a long time providing they don't do what our current starts did.

Even just having a better run with injuries should result in a handful of wins in 2025

If we have a good injury run we'll wina few.

If Lynch is fit and can play most games our forward line might work, which will help a lot.

The BIG one is if the coaching group work well and we play a good brand without confusion in the playing group. If they do work well we'll win games that we lost in 2024, just because we will know what we are doing.
