Not to forget Dissentgate against GWS earlier in the season.I mean… you were 2-3 games out of 11th and had 3 single digit wins and a draw

Middle of the road side who had a good run in the back half of the season with two flukey finals wins.
It's been a very common opinion of the hapless Blues in the 21st Century, I have a feeling they will slip back in 2024.Now where have I seen that before

Maybe its really, really early in the dynastyStarting a dynasty with a prelim final lose?
Yeah right
This is hilarious as all you guys do in our threads is bring up the past.Yes, like the past is so indicative of the future
Some people can't separate their bias/hatred from reality
Look at your back yard Piglet and stop deflecting your own clubs failure this season.Starting a dynasty with a prelim final lose?

Who does? Were ****n flat out trying to have a one-peat Muscles. That's only due to the hilarious suggestion that Pie supporters think they a generational powerhouse
Who does? Were *n flat out trying to have a one-peat Muscles.
Probably. Are you suggesting there are some unintelligent Pies fans around? Becuase thats a bombshell accusationSure I saw one of your supporters start a Pies 3peat thread, as delusional as this one
Yes, like the past is so indicative of the future

TBF the last 20 years have been pretty indicative for Carlscum and *
I'd argue Colligwood's two wins were more flukey than Carlton's. -32 i50s against the Dees (don't think anyone has won before with that kind of deficit) and then some very favourable Q4 umpiring to get over the 7th placed Giants by a point in front of a 99% Pies crowd at the G.Not to forget Dissentgate against GWS earlier in the season.

Was just talking about the finals wins in 2023. You said Carlton's were a fluke when we won 11 of our last 13 games of the season... so the trend doesn't seem relevant.Yep.
Collingwood have been ridiculously lucky to have won 33 of their last 41 games (which includes 5 finals).
Hopefully the Carlton boys have learnt they have to perform for longer than half a season if they want to be genuine flag contenders. Was just talking about the finals wins in 2023. We do need to start the season better. Do that this year and we finish top 4 and probably avoid the Gabba.Hopefully the Carlton boys have learnt they have to perform for longer than half a season if they want to be genuine flag contenders.
Precisely what I was suggesting. We do need to start the season better. Do that this year and we finish top 4 and probably avoid the Gabba.
But you also said our two finals wins were flukes... that I object toPrecisely what I was suggesting.
