Fair enough. Respect from me for Nic Cester as well but that wasn't with Jet.

The moment they ripped off Iggy was enough for me.

Nothing even slightly original about Wolfmother but they got me playing my old Led Zeppelin albums again so it's not such a bad thing.

Oasis are a pretty big band and well they aren't exactly original either.
But they're not Australian either I guess.

There's a fine line between not being original and having influences. Yes, there is a lot of Zeppelin and Sabbath influence in their music, but is that such a bad thing?

On the one hand I don't think they're very original, but on the other there aren't any bands at the moment who sound like Wolfmother. So there sound is quite unique for the present time.

The Darkness, however, I like.

Let me reiterate, it's not Wolfmother's (total) lack of originality that offends me, just their crappy music.

Heck, if I was forced fed a diet of Pink, Justin Timberlake, Fergie and other such crap, I would think Wolfmother and Jet were cool too.

The other day I was listening to a track that sounded remarkably like the beatles - only to find it was ****ing Wolfmother.

Few bands have so merciliously ripped off Led Zep ever. I understand the music industry probably likes them because of this, not that they set out to be that way intitally.

They are muzac.
