Armbands

I know that essendon were told by the AFL that they couldnt wear arm bands to support cancer research but I was wondering what would be stopping them from painting a pint armband on their arm. Im just putting this up for discussion because the AFL wouldnt be able to say anything about "body art" if tattoos are allowed. Is it a avenue that Essendon has looked at because it would be cheaper and get more questions asked than another playing strip and the AFL wouldnt really be able to stop it.

They've already sorted it by adding a yellow armband to their jumper, around the arm hole.

Fine them. AFL don't like teams being cute at all.

Didn't the AFL crack the shits at one stage over players writing things on their hands? If that were the case I'm sure they'd have something to say about painted arms.
