Just get Harv's to take him for a few light strolls over the next month or so
"C'mon Harves, do I have to go around all of Seaford beach ANOTHER five times?!"

"Suck it up, princess..."

Well ross must be a blind git then:rolleyes:
Fact is luke ball had a poor season by luke ball standards -but we played our best games when we had him in the team. Still a fair bit better than armo, and will be next year as well. Armo's best will never be as good as luke ball's best - i await his AA induction with baited breath!
Think you wsill really br regretting this stastement in the very near future as Armitage preperares to blitz in upcoming pre-seson.Genuine toughness meets highly developed skills is an attractive pproposition or a top tend draft pick who is redy to roll.

in the 2009 season we should've droped rapheal clarke, the downy, and gave armitage more game time and try him out in a half back line or up on the wing, for a little more experience.

should play half forward pressure role like mcqualter!

I reckon that Armo needs to be in the guts, a la the Tassie game when he got the 3 votes. It seems that he's not suited to a role where he has to float in and out of the game. He needs to be constantly moving, getting to contests and burrowing in. Hopefully he'll get the aerobic capacity this Summer and cement a place next year. He would be a goalkicking midfielder, which would be very exciting.

Agree 100%.

When he has a midfield role that allows him to go and get a kick (like he has at VFL level and in the Hawthorn game where he had more responsibility due to the injuries) he looks a completely different player. Gets lost in the forward role Ross has given him on some occasions.

If he does add that repeat effort/speed to his game he'll be in our best 22.

Maybe he's hoping that Bally likes the sound of the Melbourne presentation and heads for the PSD. I suspect Armo would quickly become a regular at AFL level.

Agree. Which is why I'm torn about Ball coming back. Head says let him go, heart says bring 'im on home.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but I just feel that Ball is a relic now of the St Kilda past. Armo is the future - a versatile midfielder.
