So what about Spike ? Is it confirmed that he's working for GWS in 'administration' ?

Very strange that the AFL is taking so long to give the clubs clarity. Another article today about some Essendon players training said that their club is in contact with them about their footy program to ensure they come back in top condition. I thought a club doing that wasn't allowed either. Something strange going on, again.
SHHHHHHHHHH. Keep it quiet! So what about Spike ? Is it confirmed that he's working for GWS in 'administration' ?
Banned players have been prevented from helping out in kids sport.
How can Prismall be involved at the highest level in the sport he was banned from???
Well the AFL has never ever made a decision that flies in the face of logic before so you could be right.yay asada. Fearlessly serving the anti doping community by complete ineptitude, yet again.
As I've posted elsewhere. This is how it is. There are two scenarios it could be.
One hypothesis says that the AFL decided to flagrantly disregard the wada code and thumb their nose by wilfully breaching the terms of the penalty, despite the fact it was bound to come out sooner or later, for the net gain of absolutely zero
The other says that this is a simple exercise in ass-covering.
Occam's Razor...
I can tell you categorically that the AFL are spitting chips about the decision. They were hoping for no fault and had started pleading with WADA to go easy on the players way before the CAS trial. They are worried about ratings, TV deals, the AFL brand which all comes down to $$$$$$$. So yes they are annoyed and are trying to sneak a few things through to the keeper.I've never really bought this line that has been trotted out about ASADA/WADA not giving the clubs/AFL/whoever 'clarity'.
The anti-doping code is pretty clear ('see you later Scooter'). My theory is that ASADA have had about two dozen different weird and wacky scenarios like this one thrown at them, and people have leveraged that to stomp around in the press complaining about ASADA being tardy on providing 'clarity'.
Methinks that behind the scenes there is a bunch of people like Peter Gordon and assorted AFL cronies that are still fuming about the decision and are venting by making trouble where they can.
Took eddie off the front pageHe can't. This is provocation by someone. Judging by the way the article was written it seems like Gordon is getting a bit punchy.
Baffles me why Gordon would want to suck the Dogs into this mess anymore than necessary.
Well of course we do. How many of us thought about doping at all until we were engulfed in it? And now that we know more about it, it's all a bit more complex than before. Read just the other day about the Greek athlete who, years after she had retired from the sport, finally had her 2 year ban that ended her career overturned. Innocent apparently, who would have thought? Too late to salvage her career but important to her nonetheless. No-one else cared of course.
No they won't. They couldn't even muster together something resembling a defence.IMO in the future, the Essendon players will find themselves in the same boat, you can also guarantee that many hysterical posters that have been on the HTB the last 4 years will all slink off back to their hovels with not a word said.
And yet none of you are able to tell us what they were injected with……IMO in the future, the Essendon players will find themselves in the same boat, you can also guarantee that many hysterical posters that have been on the HTB the last 4 years will all slink off back to their hovels with not a word said.
True justice is only served when the side who sooks the most gets let off for breaking the rules. Obviously. And yet none of you are able to tell us what they were injected with……
So I doubt that they would ever be found innocent. They MAY be able to find a technicality to get off on (which I doubt) but everyone will know they took TB4 because that is what Dank used. Pure and simple, whether the players knew it or not.
I'm sure the retired Prismall must be shaking in his sneakers about the prospect of getting another 2 year ban
Uh-oh, what is spike administering? So what about Spike ? Is it confirmed that he's working for GWS in 'administration' ?
Would love to know just how've been able to infer that ASADA is in the wrong in this instanceyay asada. Fearlessly serving the anti doping community by complete ineptitude, yet again.

As the AFL's approval of Brent Prismall's job at the Western Bulldogs was rejected by anti-doping authorities – resulting in his immediate standing down – the ongoing employment of fellow banned ex-Bombers Mark McVeigh and Nathan Lovett-Murray is in limbo.
Lovett-Murray's paid mentoring job with the Academy of Sports Health and Education – which he has continued since the Essendon 34 were sanctioned in January – is before the AFL after his manager recently sought further clarification.
Lovett-Murray had previously been told he must forgo the playing and coaching contract he had this year at the Rumbalara Football Club, which he has done.
Greater Western Sydney, meanwhile, has stood down suspended assistant coach Mark McVeigh as it also seeks clarification from the AFL on his working status at the club.
Giants CEO David Matthews said the club was keen to continue to employ McVeigh during his suspension but was waiting for a ruling from the AFL that it had not yet received.
Matthews said he was attempting to speak with the Western Bulldogs regarding Prismall's position as "there are any number of jobs which Mark would be suitable for while he's not coaching".
Before the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority's public intervention in the Prismall case on Wednesday afternoon, the AFL had provided contrasting advice to the Bulldogs about the ex-Bomber it has employed as a welfare manager compared with advice given to the Launceston Football Club in relation to another former Don, Sam Lonergan.
