you should have asked him if abusing junior umpires, excessive use of cocaine and drink driving is much better.
Does anyone else feel like a weight has been lifted off the shoulders?
I'm watching the finals with the anticipation that we're watching what we have a genuine chance of starting to chase next year.
It looks like an interesting finals series and one that I hope our team get together and watch and learn from.
The end of this season means we've put the worst behind us. We'll draft and trade some new players, we'll get a whole bunch back and can start with basically a clean slate and no distractions or expectations. (Please can we keep the expectations down for next year, 2018, I'm all for finals talk, but next year, let's focus on development and consolidate.)
I finally am starting to have really positive feelings about watching the next Bombers match.
That positive feeling will disappear when it is revealed our first game next year is Sydney in Sydney or West Coast in PerthDoes anyone else feel like a weight has been lifted off the shoulders?

"In its judgement, the Court for Arbitration of Sport (CAS) Panel said: “The complete failure of the vast majority of Players who had to fill in a doping control form ("DCF") during the season to reveal the receipt of injections does not encourage confidence in their statements as to the limited or sporadic nature of what they were injected with.”View attachment 286231 Looks like Mcdoushbag has been shown to up to be a lying piece of shit once again
Breaking news: 29 of 34 Essendon players filled out DCF correctly
Bruce Francis
It really brought out the worst in a lot of people.lmao completely forgotten about this saga. Just some of the lowlights:
- The bigfooty meltdown over the Dank interview in 2013 when he scratched his nose.
- The relentless troll who started an alias account seemingly everyday on the HTB in 2013.
- Mark Stevens and his AOD pamphlet fiasco.
- Dr. Ageless
- Caroline Wilson complaining about the emotional toll of the saga (had the audacity to complain about the vitriol she copped for her shit).
- The Brisbane poster who wanted to ban his kids from playing/watching football unless we were banned from the competition.
- McDevitt not knowing what the standard of proof was
- The rampant sexism towards Tania Hird.
there's more, but the last 3 years can get stuffed. That is what happens when ass-covering politicians try to mix their bullshit with sport. Clowns
The foamers don't give a toss about the truth so nothing changes there, but
Hopefully cas looks at it properly this time and changes their uninformed judgement, which was mostly based on the thought that the players we're lying
Bruce may have his faults but by **** he's done some serious analysis on the info available. In fact, I'm certain he's done more analysis than anyone other than ASADA who were in the powerful position to manipulate information to suit their prosecution. I'm sure that the CAS, in its fraction of time spent assessing the evidence, were only ever aware of a select minutiae of information when making their hasty decision. This is why the benefit of the doubt should have gone with the players. Instead, it became a political decision, based on circumstantial evidence.unfortunately that all might be 100% correct & verifiable but, with Bruce as the author, no one with any clout will even look at it ( I suspect).

The suspensions are officially over as of today aren't they? If so, slam another nail into the coffin of this ******* mess.
It's a shame the suspensions end when the team is on leave, it'd be awesome for the lads to walk back into the club full of their team mates and get down to the business of being footballers again. There again, low key is probably exactly what's needed at this point too.
I wonder if the "talking to the coach about football" part of the ban is up now or in November...Not officially over.
Players can return to the facilities, but bans don't end until November.
Club cant be involved in any marketing of players or anything like that until November, until that time its basically just a new place for the guys to train.

I think it might be similar to Crowley who started training back with the team before being available for finals.
This stage of the punishment is about reintegration and letting the players come back but not compete.
I think their images are still allowed to be used for marketing purposes, just not allowed to take new images? I.e. not allowed to be paid for more stuff during the ban period.
I believe thats a no, from what I have heard/Yeah there are intricacies to it no doubt that aren't specifically outlined.
I wonder if the ban had of ended this week and the VFL guys were still playing would they be able to stand in the huddle? into the rooms?
