FH, any chance of some info about the Wii version? Is 1:1 Motion Plus going to be used? Will we actually be able to play legititimate shots and not try and cut only for them to pull it to the other side of the ground?

That was a given, whether it works well or not is the main point, cricket is so reactionary that if you are 1 second out with lag you can stuff up anything from a delivery to a shot to a catch, will be interesting to see how online goes.

There has been a release date announced for Australia, I think it was sometime in July. I was reading it on Planet Cricket - have a look over there.

was at work for 15 hours yesterday and today was just as busy, i'm sorry. IF i remember tomorrow, i will log in after work (after i finish watching friday night footy to check my DT/SC scores)

Have to say I was REALLY disappointed with that new vid, it just looks like the exact same game, the only thing I can see being better is possibly this tweaking with the bowling and batting that I have been hearing about, otherwise this won't be any better than RPIC07.
Will say though that the graphics are BRILLIANT, fantastic looking grounds and stadium, will certainly be easy to watch, don't know about play though.

Well apparently it was from an "earlier" build, so we'll just have to wait and see. Bear in mind this game won't be the be all and end all, it's not going to be amazing it will take a few years to get right IMO much like the FIFA series.
Didn't take Audiogenic / Codemasters to get it right, they had an amazing game first go (all the way back in Allan Border's Cricket!!!) and kept building on it to make it great.
