Asians!

As an asian (Malaysian) who has lived here for the best part of more than 15 years, i consider myself more aussie than asian. I love all the aussie things here - the footy, the culture, the beer, the girls... Culturally i have adapted way better than my parents, and i know of the so-called pressure placed on you to succeed and be a so-and-so. I also agree with some of the stereotypes said here, and some of them also annoy me. The ones at uni annoy me the most - for research on an assignment, one guy got some references in chinese, translated it into english, and handed it in. When he got torn a new arse hole for plagarising by the lecturer, he asked me how it was plagarising when it was his own work (i.e. he translated it himself). I took so long to try to explain it to him and he still didn't get it. I can go on and tell you more on what i have seen, but i can't be stuffed.
