What a revelation! We can all watch the Melbourne-based Footy show or Friday Night ********-ups (by Collingwood) at the very same time as they can in Melbourne.

As somebody who was up until 0230 yesterday morning to watch Eddie nearly cry, this will be just awesome.

Its clearly not live, there is at least a 3 second delay, eddie and channel 9 have nothing to complain about.

How so ? It's only digital free to air TV that anyone can access with a set top box. It's not a billable service so where is the crime ?

If I wasnt cramming for exams right now I'd look up the Broadcasting Act to see what it says.

If anyone else can be bothered at 1am to do so - go right ahead! Would be interesting to know the answer.

Well the site has been pulled offline so I guess it must have breached regulations.

I'm just not sure what regulations were violated by providing a live feed that is available to the general public without charge anyway.

Site says it's in final beta testing and will be up and running early 2005....although wouldn't call this early 2005. Looks like it has some screenshots of what the software looks like.
