Also in France, and this is the way to go. Was a bit flakey at times last year, but seems to have been a bit more solid over the NAB cup.

Spoke too soon. Richmond v Carlton - they only managed to get it working for the first half, blank screen for the rest.

Incompetent. Maybe save your money ....??

Monthly subscription or yearly....

Works for me. Have had some real frustrations with it, but generally it is fine and worth the money. I've been living in Europe for many years, and the launch of this site improved my overall experience of life immeasurably. Donc, ca vaut la peine. Bon amusement.
ps there are teams in Paris, I think Strasbourg and here and there elsewhere in France if you need to have a kick.

OK in France now and looked at the AFL site and it costs 99 for the yearly subscription... Any advice on the quality/reliability of this service... or is there an easier "cheaper" option?

Im using my GFs(who is French and dont understand AFL, but doesnt begrudge moi) Mac and want to be ablz to watch the footy LIVE

I'm based in the US and have been using the AFL Live TV site (linked above) for the last few years. It's certainly worth the subscription and looks to be faster and more reliable this season than it has been in the past.
I can vouch for the site itself, but obviously the quality of your internet connection will be a factor.

I'm in Calgary (Canada) and have been using the AFL Live .tv site for about 2 years, it is pretty good for the money you pay. I can confirm it works on Mac and Linux (Any OS that allows you to install flash player basically). I usually hook up a HDMI cable to my wifes Mac and plug it into the 48 inch TV.

check out if there are any aussie pubs around.not sure about france but in germany there are plenty of afl teams so they might get together and watch the games.Did are ring around in 05 whilst in switzerland and got a local hotel owner to play the grand final for us,so got to watch it live up in the swiss alps

I can vouch for www.afl.livesport.tv

I have been using it here in the USA for the last 2 years, and this year the quality and content has been much better. I stream it through my pc and onto a 60" plasma, and it is watchable. The live games seem to work really well, but they ocassionally have problems getting replays up on the site. Tech support via email is really good.
