I'm based in the US and have been using the AFL Live TV site (linked above) for the last few years. It's certainly worth the subscription and looks to be faster and more reliable this season than it has been in the past.
I can vouch for the site itself, but obviously the quality of your internet connection will be a factor.

Yep, works for me.
I've found I really like the replay feature. I often have another look at a game midweek.

Probably most amazing place I've watched a game of Aussie rules is:

Tropical bar; Santorini, Greece

Anyone that's been there will know what an incredible location that bar has and how surreal it is to be watching a game there.

LIVEAFL.TV is definitely the best option...

pay the $ and its fine.

They have had one or two issues load ing the wrong stream but it was fixed by 1/4 time and has been solid ever since that in wk1.

Tech support is real time email usually

Replays can be a few days behind but usually is a 24 hour process.

Depends on on internet speed and provider.

Other option in US at least is Fox Soccer Channel carry 2 live games per week.

Not sure what is carried in France.
