I'm disappointed in him. Our club has done a great deal for him. He couldn't be found when it came time to do the hard work, for what ever reason. Now, after we finally decide to cut him, he decides he really wants to play AFL footy.

Nah probably a good call mate... obviously the circumstances are tough, but surely he could have at least told us what he wanted to do rather than going AWOL back home at the crucial time.

Youd think that based on what Neeld told Sylvia about commitment
and professionalism towards training - that we are no chance of rookie
picking Austin.

Not harsh enough, IMO. This is pathetic. I'm done being all supportive and giving him the benefit of the doubt. After all the patience and support that was shown him by the club, he didn't have the courtesy to speak openly and honestly with them. Disappearing, then renominating - how could anyone have any confidence in what he wants? He doesn't even know himself. Unacceptable risk for any club.

Nathan Ablett was an amusing one too. Couldn't be stuffed during his chance at GC, then decides he wants to play. After Gary goes up there to play with him and live in the the same town...

Some of these AFL kids are a bit flaky.

As with Scully, if GWS pick him up the slap in the face will be from Aussie, not GWS. Where was his commitment to play football when he was getting enormous understanding and support from the MFC? Personally, I don't think he deserves another chance at the big league.

Who cares, he had one good game 3 years ago and had chronic hammy's because of his weight problems. Gws can pick him up for all I care, a fat small forward. Meh
