They seem to like Agar reckon it will be him.

Wouldn't be surprised to see O'Keefe go full Brad Hodge at some point.
141 wickets @ 25.8 from 46 FC matches and the selectors prefer a guy who at the time of selection had played 4 FC matches (and has performed well since said selection it must be said) and a kid who made 98 once and has OK form in the Big Bash.

His debut results were a heck of a lot better than plenty of other guys who've had an extended run in the team.
Not that I necessarily think he should be in the side, but it's funny the extremes you go to in order to rationalise your hatred of NSW.
It's pretty rough though - he played one Test, outperformed Lyon in it, then didn't get another shot. It's not about the results - otherwise his stats would have had him in the team long ago. Especially considering who he plays for.
The knock on him has always been that he doesn't turn or flight it enough to bother international class batsmen, and he played a Test and didn't turn or flight it enough to bother international class batsmen.

Johnson, Harris and Pattinson is the best fast bowling attack in the world when all fit.
Probably close to one of our best in the last 25 years as well.
There's an argument for each one of them as the strike bowler of the group.

Sounds like Harris isn't going to go to the West Indies.
And yet they replaced him with a bowler who rolls it out even less and spins it the same way as Lyon. Regardless of whether you like him or not, it defied all logic that O'Keefe didn't play the second test in the UAE.It's not about the results - otherwise his stats would have had him in the team long ago. Don't mince words, they were stupid going into a Test in the UAE with only one spinner, given the other imposter at one stage kept wicket FFS. He showed how useful his batting was from memory. O'Keefe got dudded no question. They wanted Maxwell for his batting though. His bowling is well.....it's there.
They are no McGrath Gillespie and Lee
If they were resting him for the Ashes I was about to get extremely angry.http://www.espncricinfo.com/australia/content/current/story/820165.html
