Taj Farrant. It will be interesting to see how this kid goes in the future. Really good guitar player and should only get better.

Been almost a year since the thread was launched, and no TISM? Shame! Hard to think that TISM would ever get any traction in a country other than Australia.

As a Melburnian, have to plug the Melbourne Ska Orchestra and their cover of the Get Smart theme. It's a cracker, and it's fun trying to work out where they filmed the video clip.

My favourite Pub Rock band, THE LIME SPIDERS released this Slime Green Vinyl only compilation today.

plenty of great tracks on the album including Slave Girl, Volatile, Out Of Control, My Favourite Room and this masterpiece.

Bit of dumb WA parochialism that sounded good on the car radio driving home at about 7am Saturday morning.

This has mix of bodgie bogan r&r (although they all look like they have sharpie haircuts on the cover...not their look onthe GTK live version) and a bit of blues psych to finish

Does anyone in Melbourne know much about this bloke or seen him playing gigs. His name is Mike Sill and he started and runs a label called Ramble Records (https://ramblerecords.bandcamp.com/) in the recent couple of years, which puts out a lot of new music from all over the world, including Aust., and his own solo guitar and collaborative stuff recorded under the name The Man From Atlantis. (Sample below).

First listen to this recently released Ned Collette album called "Our Other History". Line after line of mystery and intrigue which I may never unravel.
