Well really theres not much you can do when Federer is putting up this sort of a performance

I don't agree with that. Berdych's best has just consistently been below the standard of the genuine top echelon of players in his era. He has managed some wins against them in slams but he just isn't capable of good enough tennis to run through a few of them in quick succession.

He has had a few issues between the ears at times but if anything I think his consistency has been extraordinary for somebody who plays his style of tennis.

13 Titles, 2 Davis Cup titles, Best result of at least a SF in every Grand Slam. Highest ranking of 4 and current ranking of 10. I think he delivers when it matters.

Sometimes players just play better than you and they take away from your game. It happens to everyone.
