No matter the result, hopefully this kid can use his prize money to buy some new clothes and not be stuck wearing stuff that shrunk in the wash.

Junior French Open title and challenger title last year.He has probably just come out of juniors or played ITF, by year's end he'll be in the top 100.
Father time catching up?I don’t think I’ve ever seen Novak look so flat, so devoid of energy or passion. It’s really weird.
I see your point, but in fairness to the kid, it's his first time on tour and at a major, so he can be judged on character as yet. With Novak, his renowed to take MTO and long toilet breaks, injury treatment when behind then come out and polax his opponent while looking fine. So overtime his build his good/bad character. If Djokovic took that MTO and had strapping like that and was moving like this, imagine the heat he would cop. Yet absolute silence.
I havent heard anything.Did I just hear them say they are moving Sabalenka to another court so it doesn't start so late?
You'd be FILTHY if you had a RLA ticket for the night and you get one match.
Yep, and they are copping it on Twitter tennis journos for it.If that's the case, their grand scheduling plan has failed miserably on the very first day lol.

Rubbish. He's passionate and fired up. And most would be.Starts screaming like he won the AO. Flog behaviour.
Now the toilet break. Hmmmmmm.
I havent heard anything.
I think I posted that they should start the night session at 6:30. I stick to that principle.
I also think they should play the Bo3 set match first, regardless of anything else. If that was the case now, we would have finished the first match and are about to start the 2nd around 10pm, assuming we started at 6:30. That is still not ideal but geech, it is going to be better than what Sab will put up with, who wont get on court til 11:30(ish)

I don’t care. Just pointing out what he’s doing, Novak gets blasted for. And yet look around and zilch. Why are you so intent on criticising an 18 year old Grand Slam debutant?
It’s an absolute joke. Here’s a crazy, crazy idea. If you’re going to have 2 day session matches, and you’re truly concerned about late finishes, start morning session at 11, night session 6.
