You're right. The tennis market for men here is not as strong and that's fair enough I guess.

He likely has Cerundolo and Khachanov in those rounds.
Last time he beat Khachanov was in 2020. I don't think he makes it past that stage.

The training is mediocre at best too, in Europe you have the academies and a huge cash influx over the last decade there! Then you have the obvious ones in the US. Over here tennis is a relatively niche sport, and there just isn’t the money put in to develop
Out of the women Gadecki has the body to match it with the top order but the others not so much. I would like to see the upcoming crop go and train for a full year and play overseas on the ITF or challengers.

Yeah, but how big is the sporting market there?
They even have college football, college tennis etc and that's the start some of these players take rising up the ranks.
We don't seem to have anything similarly as big here.

Yep even Cerundolo even if he wins and he probably does it won’t be easy, which makes him use petrol so to speak. I can see the Cerindolo match going 4 or 5 sets

Gadecki isn’t going to be more than a Saville let’s be real and that’s at best, not sure she will have the game. I worry about Jones going forward and yes there are exceptions but she’s tiny. Not as if she’s growing a foot and putting on a lot of kilos. She looked like a 3 foot midget against Rybakina who is hardly Sabalenka!

I like him because he beat Mannarino the other day who I cannot stand.
Plus Khachanov is good looking so always bonus points there.
I disagree on Gadecki she does have game but I don't think Nigel Sears is the right coach for her. If she had someone like Conchita she would be so much better. Jones unfortunaely will not get much taller and agree she won't put on much muscle. The tall red hair young lady looks promising, sorry I can't think of her name. I wonder how Jones's brother is going to go, apparently he is not a bad player.
