He played 5 games in the Challenger Canberra then had to play 4 Qualifiers to get into the main draw. Tonight is match 10 since December 31.

10 matches in 14 days. Insane

What a joy it was watching Fonseca last night. This kid is the real deal. Those FH’s are just insane. If you’re going to watch any of it, check out the first set TB. I mean that’s as flawless as you’re going to get, while going all out. Remarkable.

First saw him just under 2 years ago, and the improvements are big. His serve has really beefed up, his rally tolerance improved, moving a little more dynamic. Small steps over the past 2 years working on his flaws.

Assuming he continues to work hard, stays fit, honestly look out. He’s going to be a star. Between him, Carlos, Sinner and Mensik, we’ve got a fun decade coming up. Maybe Prizmic and Fils too.

I don't get this nationality obsession that's crept into tennis in the last few years, who gives a shit? one of the refreshing things about the sport is its bereft of all the shit that comes with team/national sports.

I think Machac can beat Djokovic. Machac has been taking down top seeded players for a while now so Opelka would probably be the better option for him.

Is there a light limit on 1573 matches?

They're only four games into the second match and there's a mens to follow. I want to hit up the Kostyuk match, but I imagine that Nishkori - Paul won't begin until 5.00 at the earliest. it's looking pretty dark out there today, so what are the chances they proceed with Kostyk - Niemeier? they're trying to aim for a 6.10 start but I can't see them fitting in 1.5 matches in 2 hours...

Any clues? is it worth it? I saw lights on one side but can't remember if it's a lit court.
