Rublev won't be happy getting beaten in three sets then Fonseca losing to Sonego, sometimes its not your day.

Hope Schoolkate has a go but why are all our players like 5ft 7 and the scrapper types!

Nick the exception but he is cooked now. Seems every Aussie we have coming through or playing are all under sized to compete with the worlds best in the top 30 or so.

He's the same height as Alcaraz

Quick write-up. Tauson won Auckland a couple weeks back. has a very big game. Sab should still be too good but this is a tester.

T. Machac has beaten Novak, so Novak will want to lift his game a little. Machac is a gold medalist in the doubles, so it is a bit harsh for those saying doubles lack anything. More the fact the skills of the singles player is now a lot different to the skills of the doubles.

Match of the day is the battle of the mums. Bencic and Osaka. Is Osaka back? very good win over Muchova and Garcia in the first 2 rounds and made the final of Auckland before injury hit in the final. This is Bencics first major back since the birth of her little one. Two very good players

I'd say that Machac would likely win the match if it were a day match. Since it is a night match, idk. Different Novak at night.

I'm looking forward to watching Draper vs Vukic.
