With no other dedicated AO thread, thought best to post here. Was a bit shocked tbh looking at tickets today, they've really upped the ground pass in recent years. Unless you go the first 3 days or after 5pm seems like ordinary value.

I got an email the other day saying it's only $15 for opening week and I thought they must have slashed the price of ground passes, then I realised it was for the qualiies... which used to be free!

I can't find any value in going at all any more. Will be watching from the air conditioned comfort of my lounge room once again this year.

I can't believe it. Draw rigged again. Every year the same preferential treatment for the same players. Sick of this shit.

Hey on the positive for the first time ever Coco gets a challenging draw rather than the usual one. If Zverev can’t make the final with that draw jeez. Absolute cakewalk

I'd say Alcaraz will beat him. Unsure though.

On form not even sure Carlos makes it that far, maybe. Big quarter final weirdly as a Novak fan I’ll take it as it keeps Sinner away till the final and I just hope someone beats him

I can't see anyone beating Sinner. By far the best hard court player of the last year.

I see him winning it again comfortably.

I agree with you, actually weirdly r1 is very tough for Sinner with Jarry probably the biggest non seeded bloke. Rune in r4 is tricky but the ADM (who he leads 8-0) and Fritz won’t cause him too many problems

Sundays schedule is out.

AO really are testing their fans.
They said that playing on the Sunday was to try and avoid late night matches, when all it is is a money grab, spreading Round 1 over 3 days rather than 2.

Now they have split John Cain Arena into a Day Session and Twilight session. In the past, you could buy a reserved seat on Joun Cain for $60 and see 4 matches. Now your $60 only gets you 2 matches, and if you want to see the other 2 games, it will cost you another $60.

It's going to be interesting to see what they do with the Ground pass holders in John Cain when the day session finishes. Will they kick them out.
