How did you get the job of scoring for your state side?

I am a scorer for Premier Cricket Club Richmond and was asked whether I would like to score in these championships. I have been given the Tasmanian side to to score that is how it came about. All states needed scorers as the teams don't bring anyone with them.

There are severe thunderstorms in Melbourne area at the moment and more rain is forecast for the rest of the week not good for championships

Any pages where one can check out the scorecoards? Cheers.

It's amazing the lack of coverage these championships receive. On our local news, in the sports section yesterday, there was a segment on the national surfing championships on the mainland, the nationals for some other sport (can't remember) but no mention of the first day of cricket.

There's nothing on the net at all apart from here. So any updates would be great. Any news on who made runs/wickets for tassie? play at the same club as 3 of the players so am keen to see some scores.

I know 3 of the SA guys from my school, Harford, Delmont and Allegretto all have a lot of talent, moreso Harford who has played in this team for 3 years now.

Also watch Hurn he could well go #1 at the AFL draft next year and is a run machine in cricket with a redbacks rookie contract. Putland is a first class pace bowler, bit of a Paul Rofe with some more venom and Delvins is a good allrounder.

So now because of rain NSW is almost guaranteed of victory even if they lose to the Vics. What a joke, move to the TD
Competition still wide open.

NSW 20 Pts (still to play WA, VIC and SA)
Vic 15 Pts (still to play SA NSW and WA)
SA 14 Pts (still to play Vic, WA, NSW)

With two day games a win gets 6 points (only 4 for one day games unless you get bonus points) and an outright win gets you 10 points. Round 6 Vic vs NSW will be a key match
