AVI DVD Players

Im after a DVD player that will play a DVD with say 5 AVI movies on it, I have a DiVX DVD player but that wont play the DVD with 5 AVI movies on it, I have to convert each AVI file to DVD which ends up goin through alot of discs.

Can you get such players?

I have a Pioneer SV400 which can do that via DVD's and a USB stick.

Sorry just looked at it and it is a DV400-V.

I got mine from JB IIRC they were the only ones selling it.

Do you run HDMI with yours? If so Is it much better?

I use the HDMI upscaling and it does look better with the newer movies.

Mine seems to play discs with say 10 AVI's burn on them - just a Samsung 250gb HD one...

I burnt some DVD's with multiple movies for my mate and he said they did not play either. All I did was hit the menu button on the DVD remote and it showed the movies I had burnt to the DVD, we then selected one of the movies and it worked. Give that a go before you go an spend more money on a new DVD Player.

If the player is DIVX compatible it will play avi's. If you can get one that plays via usb all the better, as it removes the need for discs.

I bought my parents one so i didn't have to keep burning stuff for them. It was a cheap conia one or something, cost 60 bucks.

Plug in a 2gb usb flash drive and it works perfectly.
