Did anyone see the Midweek Tackle just now? Scotty Gullan talked about how former Geelong Chief Operating Officer Simon Kelleher is the bloke at the AFL in charge of any audits, so we've got a former Geelong guy working with Steve Hocking looking at a period of time when he himself was in charge of Geelong's finances. Bamboozled everyone once again.

You never go full Yes Minister.
In hilarious scenes reminiscent of that great British sitcom Yes Minister, the AFL in its infinite wisdom has decided the best person fitted to the task of finding absolutely nothing wrong with the gloriously corrupt system of paying players & staff outside the salary & soft caps....which has been employed by Geelong FC on an exponentially growing basis.....is the very person who conspired to design the finer points of that model, Geelong FC's former COO Simon Kelleher.

However, if you really wish to understand the situation here, don't bother reading that article.
Watch this instead, wherein things will be revealed to enable you to understand the whole situation fully...
Just make sure that your responding to things that are real and not clickbait before you advocate deleting a club as old as footballYikes. I hate Collingwood and Carlton with a passion but would never want either of them booted from the competition.
Geelong I don’t hate nearly as much, but for the integrity of the competition, I wouldn’t give two shits if they were given the flick. Would feel for their fans, but as a football club they are nothing short of a cheating disgrace. They’ve been rotten for years and it’s all coming to the surface.
He got rules changed when Richmond were flying lol.
It's funny how rules change when Geelong lose finals. He got rules changed when Richmond were flying lol.
Shocking made rule changes after studying Richmond.

I don't think you'll find an AFL club that doesn't have their players partaking in coke from time to time.
I can't think of another comedy - ever - with writing as intelligent as that one. It's probably my favourite comedy ever. It has aged incredibly well.Haha, what a great show. It's a bit of a shock seeing clever comedy, that doesn't 'dumb down', these days. (with a few exceptions, of course)
You should be more worried about your No9![]()

Which clubs actively recruit them?
And which clubs do not?
Geelong have shown with their actions they have no qualms recruiting olayers with drug convictions.
Other clubs have different policies. The Eagles aacked their captain and then sacked him and delisted him. Other players followed. All why the Collingwood rat pack were partying hard in Victoria but not issues there.
All facts.
WCE fan talking about other clubs and drug use is very cuteWhich clubs actively recruit them?

Smith might love the powder and cut the shit out of his arms, and Stengle have some substance abuse issues alongside him, but let’s not pretend like Cousins wasn’t a walking talking headline of bad behavior out in the public eye in WA, above and beyond pretty much every other player who had mucked up in the comp.
Geelong back themselves in to keep these players on track and out of the papers(it helps bring down the highway, no doubt).
West Coast’s hand was forced with Cousins, otherwise they’d have kept him on the books too because all clubs accept that the demographic of their players means they will almost all dabble or find trouble at some point.
It's back on free to air, forget what channel or time. I caught an episode last week, still funny as.I can't think of another comedy - ever - with writing as intelligent as that one. It's probably my favourite comedy ever. It has aged incredibly well.
