SB calls the 170k
I have AK go over the top 250k
SB calls me (he had me covered with 300k+)
Dealer has pocket J's
SB has pocket K's
Vs my AK

Nobody hits... I'm out.

Big big home game last night this morning

Last hand before the break I have 80k and AA blinds are 4/800 and I hate it

Raise to 5k as a **** off bet and get 2 callers

Flop is K95 - bet 10k - fold call - ok they have a K

Turn is a K they check as do I

River is a bust and they check and I bet 20k and they call and I think ok I might be ok

They had KQ and said I thought you had AK
 
After the break I lose a few more chips and at 1/2k have 39k in the BB and AK

UTG2 raises to 20k and it folds to me and I say ' well I'm not calling this with a little more to go all in '' and I shove they snap and turn over AA - ahh no more rebuys so hmm

Flop QJ7 - ooh life

Turn is the dream T and I scoop a pot and re-set

Next level 2/4k and again BB with 89Club - UTG raises to 12 - middle position calls and I figure lets see a flop

Flop is another near dream of J26 club - UTG bets 16k MP calls and I figure I have just on pot left and shove and UTG calls - I immediately say Aclub and MP folds

First card he turns over is Aclub and I shudder as he turns over another black card - the 4 spades - phew - just dodge another club and I do

Get moved and blinds 1500/3k and I am BB with KK - 5 limpers and I assess it and raise to 20K and get 4 callers - ok

Flop is 3 cards under 8 and I see 80k in the pot and shove because I figure they are only calling with an A or a pocket pair - UTG tanks and eventually folds saying if I was in the SB I snap (cash game player) the other 2 fold a lot more quickly and my stack is looking pretty good right now

Get moved twice more and my stack is 135k blinds 8/26k and I am BB with JTh

UTG2 raises to 35k - SB thinks a moment then calls - I shrug and figure value - and part of my new approach to playing for the win - and shove

UTG2 looks puzzled and mutters then folds - SB thinks some more then calls

Pocket 9s to my JT is in trouble with a T on the flop and it holds - UTG2 says they folded AJ - which is sad because there was an A on the flop

On the bubble for FT and I have pocket 2s in the SB and BB is short stacked so I raise to 75k and they shove their 115k and I call

AJ to 22 - I'm alive and very much alive with a 2 first card out

Ended up 5th for the night and some handy cash in pocket
 
This was annoying, 2/3 at Crown.

EP raise to 13, I call in CO with 76cc with 120 behind, four to the flop. Flop is T76r, checks to me. I bet 40, folds to MP who shoves for 160. I call.

Turn: 8
River: K

She has K8o.
 
Major game at The Barker 23 left blinds are 10/20k with a SB ante - I am in the BB and havent looked at my cards with 189k with blind

Folds to middle position who limps and folds around to me in the BB and I see JQo - ok he limped lets push

I shove he snaps and shows KK - gulp - has me covered too

Flop is 3 cards under 7 - turn is Queen - ok and River is nada seeing me out

Analysing the way it played out I dont think it ends any different

If he shoves I fold but he didnt and the flop ( I think is a check check )

The Queen on the turn sees me shoving anyway and I assume he calls - maybe reluctantly - but he would assess I am shoving QQ pre-flop

dirty2 has run up a good stack and I hope he is still going

Out 10th just struggled at the end....

Blinds 25k/50k

Utg raised to 150k

I'm utg+1 shove 295k (AQ)

Folds to dealer who calls me + UTG calls as well.. both have big stacks

Flop 6,5,3 turn J river is 8

Utg has Q6 🤨 dealer pocket 3's

😐😑😐 Did well... But so many tornys I'm out around the bubble or if I make the $ it's only just.

This ^^ is something I need to work on.

Frustrating.
 
A few epic hands yesterday

Just after rebuys finished 3 AllIns -- KK v QQ v JJ with a K on the flop seeing 2 eliminations

QQ v KK and QQ Quads up on the flop

Last hand I saw before I went home was a funny one

SB V BB and flop is a 9c another club and a spade - SB bets 50k call

Turn is a spade - bet 50k call

River is another spade and check check

SB turns over their cards and says I got a 9 - BB nearly mucks and says your kicker plays and is about to lay them down face down

For some mysterious reason in the poker gods minds they make him show them face up and his 94s is good enough for the flush

Back to playing well but bubbling for FTs/the money most games 😑😑😑

Couple of times I've been on the money bubble and I've been contending with a few only playing for a min cash, rather than to win, they'll fold right down to 1-2 BB left, get a lucky triple up or double through me and fold right again until I get screwed over by the chip leader in some way with 5-8bbs. Got counterfeited twice by one bloke in the BB a couple Fridays ago, he had King rag both times and I had 2s and 3s in the BB and called his cheap all ins, garbage runouts, he goes back to folding every hand and I have to pick my moments to either squeeze or see a flop...

But yeah, getting annoying seeing bad passive play rewarded far too often at the moment when I just want to break the duck.
 
Played on the feature table at the recent APL600 Jackstar in Sydney for a while. Made final table but didn't win, still pretty happy with the result. Hoping to improve on it at either the Ballarat Marathon or APL Albury. Come say hello if you're there.

A group of our guys went over and won 2 trophies 2 2nds and a few 6-8 finishes
