I can say this objecticely:

What a game.

Guys you're not in the Grand Final but from where I sat there was nothing more you could have done than that you did.
Absolute 100% effort from the whole team.

After 55 years I know my words mean nothing here, but I would be proud if my team put up as much effort and spilt the blood you guys did on Friday night.

Agree with everyone above. I thought the Bulldogs were the better team on the night, and threw everything at the Saints, thrashing them at contests, and after having to play the week before. It must be tough for the players to do that and still lose. You just needed a full forward, or a bit of luck, to win it. Anyway, you should be proud of your team.
