No shit, we have zero leverage and Sam Power won't walk him to PSD because he would upset the managment fraternity who hold all the power in these deals. It'll drag on because all deals do but we'll pretty much accept whatever the Cats want to offer.

In 2025 you'd imagine Gunston and Bruest would be either retiring, but again not much going out

Barass and Battle going to command $700k each per year on the low end
Meek going to command about that too at end of next year
Dear is projecting for a huge contract increase in 2025
Worpel might be looking at one decent contract in 2025 too

Had they not nabbed both Barass and Battle I think it was a live chance, but can't see it getting done now - not that it matters, they've addressed their needs

Believe it's Geelong, Saints and maybe one other Victorian suitor who is yet to be discussed publicly

It's Geelong - just isn't announced as they are in finals. If it was anyone else, the other club would have been named.
