Well we will see wont we, he can easily play at both ends of the ground and in my opinion he will kill it in that league

No doubt SR. He is a great mark. Kicking needs work but he is a big boy. He finished 2nd in Werribee's B&F couple of years ago and played a lot on the ball. At 6'4 thats hard to match up on. Could tear the comp apart,

When is the draw out? Round 1 kicks off with Sunba V Darley Sat night under lights at Sunba. Should be a decent turn out for the night game.

A couple of good gets by sunbury rod sharpe from gisborne and jordan barham ex gisborne and just played the past couple of seasons with port adelaide in the sanfl, barham will be more than handy and having him in the side will see houlihan back were he belongs in the twos!

Sharpe can play but has some serious social issues and has a very balding (and red) hair line. Jordan Barham isnt a brave footballer but eats more beans than Brendan Alger so he will be a big hit at Sunba... :thumbsu:

Their is no hair left its all gone now it just looks like some one has sprinkled a heap of chicken seasoning over it,both are allegedly partial to mind altering substances.
Barham will suprise a few i reckn if he could kick as good as the ginger ninger he would b a superstar unfortunatly if he lined up from the top of the goal square he would probably only bang through six out of ten.

Barham is overated who really can only play back, coz he ain't a good mark for his size, he went ordinary last year, hardly touched it.
He aint a good mark ? You have obviously never seen this bloke play. Yes, his kicking for goal may sometimes let him down but to say he cant take a grab is ridiculous.

Your right in saying he didnt have the best of years this year but lets remember this blokes been at St. Kilda and Port Adelaide in the AFL, Werribee in the VFL and Port Adelaide in the SANFL and also won Gisbornes B&F a couple of years ago.

Very handy pick up for Sunbury if you ask me

A shame the BFL Interleague team aren't playing as a curtain raiser to an AFL match as hoped, it would have been fantastic for the BFL boys and for once everyone would have been available. Just shows the BFL only worry about income not actual football and giving the boys a chance to show their wears to the people that matter. Why should anyone be surprised??????

Must be able to play if been at St.Kilda and Port
Sounds like a pretty loyal sort of bloke too? by the number of clubs he's been too. Money must be good at Sunbury

Theres only so many blokes you can borrow coin off at clubs and not pay it back before its time to leave. Sunbury is close enough to bubble so the big boy wont have to travel far after games to lift .... lift i tell you... lllliiiiiiffffffttttttt...

:)

Im hearing sebas have sacked there coach. Does anyone know the reasons?

I heard on the grape vine that it was just he and the assistant i think his name was troy? had no respect from the playing group and also something along the lines that the new sebas commitee had a falling out with Rusty and Troy

And to you Johnny Prawn, less then 6 months ago people were bagging sebas saying that the playing coach couldn't even play good himself which i didnt think he was bad but now you are saying he was the only one that could play? poor observation
Although i do hear the replacement coach is a gun player

i couldnt give a toss if he was good or not, couldnt even tell you what he looked like really, sebas are irrelevant

Maybe DrWho could coach them when she finishes trying to sue the Ballarat league, Darley footy club, big footy and anyone else who doesnt agree with her, hahahahahahahah

All will be in the courier next couple days. The 1st part of the 'grapevine' was wrong and the 2nd pretty close. A new board came in a month ago. They made there ideas known. Those ideas may have been different to Mark and Troys. Mark and Troy were prepared to ride it out because the players requested them to stay, and thats the truth. They had respect from the playing group. But things happen and it was mutually agreed upon that in the interests of the club and people concerned, that rather than butt heads about different directions etc they should part ways.
The boys addressed the players last night and wished them all the best. I believe Kallen Young has taken over

Disappointing to hear that Sebas have flicked Mark Russell as coach. He was trying to change the culture and showed faith in the young kids coming through. Mark was fully aware that his best footy was behind him but still showed class as a person and was repescted by the players. Hopefully the young kids stay and continue to improve.

Agree. Sebas under Mark Russell were slowly turning the corner. Anyone who has spoken to him over the past couple of years would know he's a pretty approachable person and pretty honest, yet optimistic about where the Kookaburras were at.

If true sounds like Sebas might have shot themselves in the foot.

How old is he?

I can fully understand that Mark would be very disappointed about the way his tenure at Sebas has ended. This will possibly become a more common occurence with coaches being signed to long term contracts and a change of board members coming through during his time at the helm. It does cast some doubt over whether it was only a matter of time before this would happen? Some interesting times coming up for the Burra.

It's lucky they aren't playing a curtain raiser as they would of been embarrassed, they won't get near the GFL. I saw Barham play at Gisborne when McGuane coached and he couldn't outmark a 6fter
