Workshop Ballarat Rams

Just trying to come up with a concept for an AFL side in Ballarat.

Have gone with the Rams, as Ballaarat was originally a sheep run before the gold rush. With Ballarat representing the Western Districts of Victoria I think this would be more appropriate than some mining term anyway.

I have used the eight pointed star synonymous with the Eureka flag, a popular symbol of Ballarat.

The colours I have chose are black and blue, Black for Lake Wendouree's black swans, and blue for the Eureka rebellion.

just because of the eureka flag try keep the star white and maybe incorporate the cross into the lower half of the shield?

Basically what Rabbitoh20 has said, but also, the cross could be put behind the Shield. Have a look at the logo for the Universoty of Notre Dame Australia, they do it quite well IMO

love the logos and colour scheme Carls12. I thought I'd take the concept and knock up a few designs.

I've tried to use the simplicity of your designs as the theme of these jumpers. Their all simplistic, letting the colours and logo be the focus.

Thinking about adding the cross, but I think simply the eight pointed star itself lends itself to greater design potential.
