Ignoramus question: Do these guys have their own First Class comp (his figures are quite good) or would he play in the South African FC comp?

Steve Tikolo's spent years playing in the Bangladeshi first class comp.

Yep, they've had a much better line up than us for years.

Unfortunately their board is in turmoil these days and they've barely had a competitive hitout in the last 18 months. With Odumbe out banned and the rest of the team beginning to age, the result'll be very different this time round.

Kenya were again destroyed in the 2nd ODI

Kenya 161 (49.5)
Tanmay Mishra 33(58)
Hitesh Modi 30(48)
David Obuya 30(68)
Syed Rasel 3/28(10)
Mashrafe Mortaza 2/26(9.5)
Abdur Razzak 2/30(10)

Bangladesh 162/1 (23.5)
Javed Omar 64*(79)
Aftab Ahmed 59*(31)
Shahriar Nafees 28(37)
Peter Ongondo 1/17(3)

Bangladesh win by 9 wickets and 157 balls to spare. MoM: Syed Rasel

Yes, you'd think if they use a dodgy ring in, they'd at least take the trouble to change his name so no one knows.

Bangladesh won the toss and batted and are struggling @ 4/87 in 18 overs. Nafees has 44 off 57 but they have a fairly long tail if Rafique is batting @ 6.

back on track

Tigers to win easily - I think these series has shown what regular exposure to high class cricket can do, Bangladesh have generally struggled against kenya but now they are pretty much a level below

maybe I need a rethink

136/ 6

yep, totally agree. with regular exposure against the big boys, it's now paying dividends. even though they've only one test victory to their name, they don't realise how much they are improving each game until they drop back to the next tier. all looks good for bangladesh in future years (not overnight mind you) as they have squillions of people in the country to pick from and are cricket mad.
