I don’t personally (Want the x amount of matches played rule) but can understand that. I want to see the best players playing, there are too many average players playing that drag the quality down.

What I would like to see is Australia play no international cricket after the Sydney test so we can see Warner, Starc, Cummins playing.

Well done Sixers. Peaked at the right time, got their experienced players back at the right time.

Hope everyone is happy. Not the full 20 overs but we got a game of sorts, and the Sixers were clearly too good.

Stars leave a bit too much to too few. Sure they've got a few big names who can make a big difference, but they need them to fire in big matches. You just felt that once Stoinis and Mexxy both got out cheaply that they didn't have enough others to make up the difference.

Absolutely they should. Cricket isn't footy. International players coming back to play domestic comps has happened in cricket for a long long time. Sixers had to have these players in their squad and salary cap.

It’s not Sydney’s fault that NSW produces better Cricketers than Vics

I get teams want to chase when there’s rain about as it’s easier to keep ahead of a shifting DLS target, but given the stars want to choke in finals and also recent weeks electing to bowl first was bloody stupid. They really should have eliminated one form of pressure (the scoreboard) and batted first.

10 runs an over was always going to bite, and the game was confirmed over with Maxwell’s dismissal.

Stars in most circumstances should bat 1st but not in a rain affected game. They really should have chased this down no problem but awful awful batting cost them.

Easy, the bushrangers. The Vics dominated and won titles. Plus under the state system there was way less artificial bullshit pumped mindlessly and repeatedly through the pa.

For all the random dumb luck the T20 format throws up, you've got to wonder why the Stars storm the H&A but bomb the finals every year. They have a few fragile players and make plenty of dumb tactical decisions for sure.

I actually like watching them though, the BBL borders on boring pretty often with most teams being run of the mill and winning and losing at random, but not the Stars.
