Johnson had econ 3.5 last game with 2 wickets on the exact same conditions and got Matt Short out this game and barely went for anything. Why protect your wicket on the other bowlers then go the step forward hit on Johnson who has been bowling good length to have such crazy numbers. Maybe have a go at all the other bowlers and not Johnson until later?

Can't really be doing that when you need 11 an over from the outset. The Heat have the best bowling attack this year, it's not surprising to see them be restrictive on us when defending a big total. Weatherald just couldn't get any timing tonight, he wasn't trying to bat at 50 SR.

I'm really not worrying about minor things like this tbh. The difference between the two sides is one freak innings (who else has really got going?) and the Heat having a far superior bowling attack. Strikers were always on borrowed time this season, all good to see the best two teams in the final.

Failed to set this season alight, especially having the advantage of batting on the Adelaide Oval batting decks.
His last 2 years at Hobart, he looked cooked.
I think him getting to rep Australia at international level was his moment but I generally dont think he has looked to improve or better his game. The IPL teams quickly identified that , as he only had 1 season there.
