They gave the Stars the hard fixtures, because they are supposed glamour team . Sixers, Renegades and Heat are going to be in the finals or thereabouts. Its a horror draw for them.

The Stars get the Sixers twice, Renegades twice, and a game against Brisbane at GABBA in the run home. On this form , they are lucky to win 1, and there is every chance they could go 0-5 in those games.

And yeah I agree with you, Strikers didnt play that well today but the Stars are in a bad mental space right now. Just down on confidence. There needs to be a cleanup of this squad by the start of next season. Too much dead wood being held onto from previous seasons.

Who’s the deadwood being held onto here? Cartwright? Rogers? Not much really.
Duckett, Webster, Curran all came in and good players. Milne, Warren new to the side.
Maxwell and Stoinis are international players.
Siddle was recently a striker, hardly his fault.
