It was Mujeeb Ur Rahman who tested positive, I’m guessing the other Afghani bowler travelled/Quarantined together and needed further quarantine. So Ahmed and Khan may need to be reconsidered too.
Sandeep doesn’t travel til January, so point still stands thou.

The Melbourne Renegades have made two overseas signings, securing veteran spinner Imran Tahir and promising Afghan teenager Noor Ahmad in a significant boost to the club’s playing stocks ahead of KFC BBL|10.

His absence in pre-Christmas fixtures will be filled by Noor Ahmad - a left arm wrist spinner who has earned high praise around the globe.

The Melbourne Stars have secured Afghanistan spinner Zahir Khan ahead of the upcoming KFC BBL season.

I figure he is. He didnt bowl pretty much all of last BBL so that is factored into his price already. I can see the reasoning behind not going with him but his upside is pretty huge. Personally, i prefer my team with him in it.

Im really not a fan of Handscomb, very possible he will get a few DNB. I can see Hobart getting off to some decent starts, with the big hitter getting promoted, also means he’s a possible candidate for the new sub rule.

Have been planning around Stonis not being available, I’m making room as his upside is equal to anyone including Darcy. Basically it’s been Lynn and DC to Stonis and Wildermuth.

Currently running 6 stars also, 4 canes and 2 strikers, weak subs at the moment thou. Zampa is the perfect plave holder for Khan as I see it thou.

Think I’ll just stick with this or it will do my head in. Think I have a decent balance with 6 Stars,3 Hurricanes and a Striker. Next week Zampa will likely become Rashid,Fletcher can be swapped with Phillippe for Salt or Weatherald unless he kills it and Stanlake could always be shifted too to a M.Short or Nielsen if needed. Makes sense in my head anyway
