I think so. He’s no Matty Gilkes. If Dorff or Richo get rested for some reason I can reverse it to how it was.

Decided to go with Abbott as Captain in Round 3 and play 3 wicket keepers: Wade, Inglis and Nielsen.

The Sydney weather radar doesn't look good with a lot of rain around so they may not get a game tonight or only get a reduced overs game in.

I only have Wade playing and if it looks like being a washout I can shift him to the bench and start Rogers, I would prefer to start Wade though.

Not sure if this is a good or bad thing but I didnt have any Brisbane Heat players in my team in Round 3. I assume Neser aside , I may not have missed out on much.

Pretty much resigned to having a bad round becuase I put Bazley as my captain. Hopefully I can eat my words and the Heat boys put in a good performance to make up for it.

And with the rumoured forecast for tonight’s game, might be a good thing I have no Sixers or Canes players

Looks like it could be quite a while. Looking at the radar and it shows that it should clear eventually but with little wind, it could be a while. No way they play a full game, and probably will need to be lucky to get more than say 12 overs each.

Given that, im playing Stoinis over Naveed

I brought him in and have him as an emergency. Need to decide if to take his score or stick with Wood from the stars

Got spooked by rain so I swapped Dooley out for Webster. Reduced overs so Dooley bowls 3 overs only and he still picks up 2 wickets. Meanwhile the bowlers I do pick can’t buy a wicket…

I benched Shadab and he also got a couple of wickets from his 3 overs, he will probably make a 20 plus score with the bat too just to really rub it in.

I started Wade, I could have looped him with Inglis but if I didn't take Wade's score I would have had to start Rogers who would probably do worse.

At least Wade took a couple of catches so his score wasn't a complete disaster.

The benchmark for me after those 2 catches was him getting to 20+ a SR bonus. 35 is far from a disaster but nothing to lose for me fielding Inglis.

Hatzoglou playing makes me think Hardie will probably bowl but then again I think Stoinis will bowl too.

Yeah I'm leaning Stoin, he's due and gets more responsibility with the bat. I'll put his first 2 performances down to Covid (still a head scratcher why he played).
