That may be the case, but I believe the continued investigations will have nothing to do with whether or not Beams or McArthy were the guilty parties. But it doesn't matter anyway, there reputations have been forever tarnished.

I guess it all depends if even tho they are not charged, that they may still have done it. And if there is a cop running around getting rid of evidence who also happens to do some work at the same club.

It's more than likely that the story just disappeared as there was no breaking news to report on the case until today.

Let's not forget The Australian, who caught one of about 50,000 rumours and passed it off as a "source", running a full article as though it was fact.

The majority of journos were right to STFU, but Mitchell and The Australian are attention hungry whores.
