Sorry. But two problems with this post:

1. Different era. Which means different gamestyle and tactics.
2. Completely different player and what they bring to the said tactics and gamestyle.

Dane Swan and Mcreery are nothing like each other.

Nah, it's pretty close to accurate. The forward line has room for only one of Schultz or McCreery.

I prefer McCreery. I think his fumbling limits his potential performance, but he can be inspirational at times.

Absolutely something to explore there. I think he looked very comfortable, and didn't get lost chasing the man at all

Absolutely something to explore there. I think he looked very comfortable, and didn't get lost chasing the man at all

really interesting to see with degoey out with groin issues, I think we have tried to turn him into something that his not. 100% midfielder. the answer here lies with McCreery. Degoey should be 60-70% mid and 30-40% forward and McCreery vise versa.

Shattered for Beau, he was looking good in the midfield, i dear say our best player until he got subbed off. I hope the concussion doesn't effect him too much, hope to see you on field ASAP.

Finally started to show a bit of consistency and got into the middle, where he had been touted all summer. Bad luck for Beau, but the centre square is where I'd like to see him more going forward.
