Good messaging regarding support and welfare of all parties.

For anyone not going to read the link, the incident allegedly occurred on their way to the air-port.

Thus far, neither parties have been blamed and drugs or alcohol have not been mentioned.
Bit of a fender bender, nothing to see here.

Probably a touch more than a "fender bender" - that's a decent hit that could do your neck some damage

Yeah, just thought I'd get in before the more jumpy posters go off after reading the title but not the article.

In before:

"Not to sound negative, (this always comes before people say something negative), but this shows that even on the road Beau is a bit of a one trick pony. Needs to add new tricks to his driving.".

Crumble zones.

Cars sustain more damage by absorbing more of the impact so people don't.

They're called "crumple zones" and yes I am familiar with them :) The point was it looks worse than what I would associate with a fender bender and the impact would've still caused some sort of shock/sudden movement.

Journos are going to be busy if they start giving us a news report every time Beau smashes s**t up.
I made my living on the road for nearly 35 years and I've seen quite a few 'fender benders' - that seems half a level above - not a smash but certainly enough to more than shake up.

The vehicle pictured is a hatch - now with a hatch the weakest point in the entire structure of the hatch is the centre top hatch area opening - it appears to be not buckled which strongly suggests that the force of the impact was on the lower end of the scale.

So of course it couldn't have been tackled by the Beaumeister - else it would be strewn across 3 lanes :eek::eek:

Didn't want to sound dismissive of the potential for whiplash/shock, only to clarify that with modern vehicles that level of damage occurs at lesser impacts.

The club stated that no one has suffered injury.

Evidence of first and second efforts there by Beau. Workrate is fine, just hope he didn’t have the fumbles.

SEN have said on air that the car is seeking a potential trade to geelong.

Dodoro has said that he wants two firsts for it, even though it’s not his car and now it’s a write-off.
