well i'm serious here. I've seen too many free kicks because umpires think the collison has been too violent. The other thing that will probably happen is that umpires wont give him frees because he is seen as being too strong - the cloke/lockett thing. It doesn't happen a lot but umpires have a tendency to protect the little weak guy...

And I thought I was the only one that thought this. Poor Cloke was umpired differently because he was way too strong. So they let two players hold and scragged him just to even the scales.

And Cox gets the same because he's too tall.

How strong is this bloke? These fend offs are next level.

There was a play in the last quarter in our forward line where there was a scrimmage that led to a ball up and as he was getting up an essendon player (I think McGrath) shoved him when he wasn't looking and caused him to step back a pace to balance. Beau then puffs his chest out and walks towards him and McGrath tries to shove him with both hands in the chest twice but only succeeds in pushing himself backwards....lol.

He's a tank!
It was Jake Kelly.
It’s his go to move pushing people in the chest.
Beau just kept coming forward - classic.

He is the danger. He is the one who knocks.

Agree, umpires tend to favour smaller undersized players - reckon it's because they can relate to them (who was last tall, big bodied umpire?). Umpires have very little feel for the game and simply can't relate to taller/bigger players. Cox is another who has been crucified by umpires - he can have two or three players hanging off him in a marking contest and it's play on.

his final quarter attacks on ball and player were invaluable ... thats his game ..... thats his role .... bit more game play investment and polish by foot and he will be a gun
Anybody doubting McCreery needs to watch the last quarter against the Bombers again. He’s a brute. That one passage of play where he bumped Langford on his ass and then shrugged a dual tackle by 2 Bombers to feed the ball out to Elliott who handballed to Daicos for a goal was just superb.

His physicality, ability to win the ball and explosive pace has midfielder written all over him for the future.

Yep sheer brute force intelligently applied.

Just a slightly smaller version of Jordy with his bull-like behaviour. He certainly understands his physical attributes and how to use them Jon.
Amen Bramax there is often opposition prejudice but never malice in his actions - regardless of which I'm sure many opposition backmen have started listening for footsteps when they are going for the ball.

Reminds me of Byron Pickett - fast, tough, good skills and a deadly weapon as his superpower. For Pickett it was the bump (before that got largely outlawed) for Beau it's the hard tackle.

He tackles extremely well - he is careful not to sling and almost lowers the other player to the ground.

Good comparison mate. Byron was a star and tough as nails.
Beau is doing this at 19 years of age.
Will only get stronger.
